Tilaantuminen - Part: Retrospective

Team Kahrola & Karhulahti will present the work Tilaantuminen - Part: Retrospective, a piece with video dance, live visual art and live contemporary dance. The performance is a commentary and reflection on local identity and the meaning of place of being. The interaction between the different arts and the various locations creates overlapping abstract worlds, which are reflected in the dancer's movement in the video and performance space, and in the visual artist's movement and the trace she creates.

The performance for the Nocturnal Happening will be performed by Hanna Kahrola, a dance artist from Tampere, and Maijariitta Karhulahti, a visual artist from Kuopio.

Tampere will see the premiere of the performance. The performance will also take place in Kuopio at the end of August 2023.
