Finlayson Art Area ry

The event is organised by Finlayson Art Area. Audience has possibility to follow how original artprints are being made by printmaker workshop Himmelblau. Himmelblau produces original art prints using traditional metal graphics methods. The space also features an art exhibition of woodcuts by artist Teija Lehto.

During the summer, Himmelblau's exhibitions are part of the Finlayson Art Areas art event. In the graphics workshop (floor PB), Teija Lehdo's skilful and colourful woodcuts will be on display, and on the gallery side (floor 2B) Teemu Saukkonen's spectacular 70th anniversary exhibition Maallista iloa ja pyhää kauhua..

The FAA also hosts stunning exhibitions by 9 other artists in different spaces around the area: photographs, sculptures, video art, paintings. Including Ola Kolehmainen, Charles Sandison, Katja Tukiainen. You are warmly welcome to visit all the FAA's art exhibits!
