This year's Main Programme features one cost free piece: Emil Santtu Uuttu's The Lovely Daughter Erika – Notes on a NameThe performance consists of audio play and video material, and it explores the themes of remembering and history politics in the context of trans history. Finlayson for Kids: Mimmit Duo

Mimmit is a delightful children's group consisting of two siblings. Mimmit put on a show bursting with singing, dancing and talking and are guaranteed to put listeners in a good mood. The band's airy, organic sound is lovely for the parents to listen, too.

Duo's Hannamari Luukkanen and Pauliina Lerche have also published children's books.

Rafla
Rafla is a contemporary circus story about a travelling restaurant and its two owners who love their work and each other, despite the complications. Kate & Pasi are and internationally acclaimed duo who create high quality, eventful circus art with good humour.

Spinsane
Spinsane, with its original humour and spectacular death-wheel acrobatics, will warm the hearts of all ages. The performers spin around insanity and on the borders of reason.

Red Hot Condition

Red Hot Condition is an energetic circus performance by Company Afterclap. It explores today's fitness boom and our society's pressure to look good – through a show full of lycra, funk music and humour, in the bright colours of the 80s. Company Afterclap is a contemporary circus group formed by circus artists Nelli Kujansivu and Aaron Hakala.

Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra: Park Concert 2024

It's time to put on your dancing shoes as the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, Tampere Hall, and Tampereen Energia put on the traditional late summer Park Concert in Sorsapuisto Park, Tampere. The main theme of the concert is dance throughout the ages, and the program will feature some of the most beloved melodies of classical music from centuries past, Finnish classics, and well-known dance tunes from the worlds of ballet, musical theater, and opera.

Pikilinna 100 years – Courtyard Event

The inner courtyard of Pikilinna opens to the public! There will be a yard sale, music and other activities.

14.00–15.00 Guided tour in English, The Masterpieces of Fashion: The exhibition provides a colorful overview of fashion history and designer stories from the 1770s to the 2010s.

AZÚCAR – Salsa

Let's dance to Latin rhythms in the Olympic Square from 20.15 to 24.00. DJs will set the mood for the evening! The evening will also include a rueda de casino.
